Whether or not you’re coming in for glasses or contact lenses, Dr. Dianne Powell and Associates Optometrists will start with a comprehensive eye exam. Getting your eyes checked regularly ensures that they are healthy. It also catches any signs of developing eye conditions so that they can be treated early. During your exam, we will determine what vision impairments you may have and whether or not contacts are right for you.

If your eye health permits it and you can wear contact lenses, we will conduct a contact lens consultation and fitting. It’s important that your contacts fit right not only because it avoids discomfort, but it will also prevent the contacts from damaging your eyes.

New to wearing contacts? Don’t worry! Our doctors provide professional care and an experienced fitting for all contact lenses, and our friendly and knowledgeable staff can provide personal instruction for the care and handling of your lenses. Fitting, instruction, dispensing, follow-up, and on-going contact lens care are all available in one location.
